Universal Front Projector Kit

We offer a kit that allows customers to use several of our meters to calibrate front projectors. The kit includes a tripod mount and an opal glass diffuser.

Features and Recommendations

• This kit can be used with the Chroma 5, Display 2, or i1Pro.
• We recommend taking readings directly off of the screen without the diffuser. Place a couple of feet away from the screen at enough of an angle to prevent the probe from reading its own shadow.
• If you wish to take readings from the lens to get higher light output, then you must use the diffuser. The diffuser will filter out some light in the higher wavelengths, so you should use ChromaPure's Meter Offset feature to correct the response by using off-screen measurements without the diffuser as a reference.
• Be sure to attach the probe snugly to the tripod clamp, but do not over-tighten. Also, do not allow the clamp to block the central area of the probe where the light is received.
